Jug and I have gotten pretty good at it, so we can help you learn what you need to join in.

I think that trying to find someone that works for the labs, on the portals, as a point of contact is something that we should probably work on - between three of us we might be able to get to someone. Plus, some records are public - Jug and I have been talking about getting PI credentials, or even press credentials somehow (or someone with them) to help dig into a paper trail.
